Webinar: Behavioral Economics – July 11th

Behavioral Economics

July 11th, 2013 – 11:00am CST
PRC Credit: 1 Hour Research

Description :

Behavioral Economics (BE) has become a hot topic in market research recently because it offers an empirically validated approach to understanding judgment and decision making. At the core of BE is the co-existence of two states of consciousness, called System 1 and System 2, that underlie our decision making architecture. BE and neuromarketing share many common themes. In her discussion, Deanna will be presenting a case study in which she used the 7 steps to behavioral change outlined in the book Unconscious Branding to persuade physicians to treat beyond the standard of care for an under diagnosed and under treated chronic condition. This talk will demonstrate how the interaction of System 1 and System 2, the linchpins of BE theory, underlies the foundations of neuromarketing and how it can be used to create new behaviors.

Please join us on Thursday, July 11th at 11:00am CST.
